Teams
I bring three areas of strategy to my work with leadership teams. Sessions may focus on one particular area or we may weave all three together, as we customize workshops to fit your team’s strengths and goals.
Active Listening
There are a variety of ways to listen. Exploring the three levels of listening - internal, focused, and global - with a team works to create clarity, expand empathy, and grow capacity.
Clifton StrengthsFinder
There are many assessment tools out there! My favorite is the Clifton StrengthsFinder, which I use to create sessions that are interactive and engaging, so that everyone feels heard, focused, and inspired.
Spiritual Direction & Discernment
I believe there is no divide between the sacred and the secular. Whether we are talking about prayer or budgets, sacraments or strategic plans, I believe all things are spiritual. My role is to spend time in the presence of the Holy with your team or board – listening, asking questions, and helping discern together what God may be inviting your team to.
As we discern, we can also incorporate other practices and tools into our time. I use Lectio Divina, the Enneagram, and prayer practices to help facilitate insight and growth. I have also developed a year-long LeaderShift Training Manual & Bible Study resource that can be used with teams or boards as a portion of their regular meetings.
